Schedule of Important Dates

The following is a list of important dates. Please note that the application deadline is absolute and that any applications received after that date will NOT be considered. There are two 6-month terms for the 2008-2009 year that are included.

First term

February 2008-August 2008

Departure to China Mid-February, 2008

Second Term

August 2008-February 2009

Interviews Mid-June, 2008
Departure to China Late August, 2008

Please see the Application Forms page for more information regarding the application process. The application deadline will be enforced, no late applications will be considered.

Interviews

Selected applicants will be asked to participate in two rounds of interviews. The first round interview will be a phone interview. The dates of the phone interviews will be sent in notifications to candidates. Second round interviews will be conducted in person at a location and date specified in notifications sent to qualified applicants.

Accepted applicants will be notified soon after the results of the screening interview are determined. TECC representatives will aid the accepted applicants in preparation for the departure process.

Departure to China

Prior to departure participants must be able to provide the following:

  1. Valid passport
  2. Three 3cm x 4cm passport photographs for the visa process
  3. Proof of graduation and degree achievement from college or university
